A two-piece stoneware cheese cloche and plate attributed to Ray Finch at Winchcombe Pottery. The robust hand-thrown form, restrained glaze and practical proportions reflect the functional tradition associated with the pottery.
The base carries an impressed Winchcombe Pottery mark.
Dimensions: approximately 15 cm high overall; plate approximately 23 cm diameter.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Natural glaze variation and minor firing marks are consistent with handmade studio pottery.
