Mid-Century Turned Wood Mushroom

Mid-Century Turned Wood Mushroom

£32.00
Details & condition

A large mid-century hand-turned wooden mushroom with a simple sculptural form and pronounced natural grain.

A substantial drying split runs vertically through one side of the cap and stem. This is an age-related feature of the timber rather than a later repair, and it gives the piece a particularly expressive surface.

Dimensions: 23 cm high.

Condition: Stable vintage condition with the prominent drying split shown clearly in the photographs. The base remains sound and the surface is smooth and tactile.
