Vintage Persian Carved Wood Horse Printing Block
£75.00
Details & condition
A large carved wooden printing block featuring a stylised horse in decorative harness.
Believed to be Persian in origin, the block has a deeply carved design, traces of old pigment and a richly timeworn surface from its former working life. It now makes a striking piece of folk art for display.
Dimensions: 31 × 26 cm.
Condition: Vintage working condition, with considerable surface wear, staining, scratches and residual pigment. There is some separation between the wooden layers along one edge, as shown in the photographs.
