Vintage English Terracotta Slipware Plate

A characterful English terracotta plate decorated with concentric rings of warm yellow slip beneath a rich amber-brown glaze.

Its simple, rhythmic decoration has the appealing look of traditional country pottery, while the shallow profile makes it equally suited to display on a shelf, dresser or plate wall.

Believed to date from the mid-to-late 20th century. The piece is unmarked, so the maker and precise date remain unknown.
