£38.00
Details & condition
A hand-carved wooden wall mask depicting the serene face of Buddha, finished in deep black with contrasting gold-coloured details.
The tightly curled hair, elongated earlobes and gently aged surface give the piece a strong decorative presence. Probably Southeast Asian in origin and dating from the later 20th century, it has a hanging loop fitted to the reverse.
Dimensions: 25 cm high.
Condition: Good vintage condition, with surface marks, scratches, rubbing and small areas of finish loss consistent with age. The reverse shows further wear from previous display.
