Pair of Vintage Brass and Copper Urns

A wonderfully timeworn pair of vintage brass and copper urns, each with a slender pedestal form, drop handles and a richly embossed floral band.
The contrasting copper-toned necks and warm brass bodies have developed a mellow, uneven patina. Their many dents and slightly wayward stance suggest an eventful former life, but they remain a handsome and characterful decorative pair.
Dimensions: 28 cm high each.
Condition: Distressed vintage condition. Both urns have numerous dents, surface marks, scratches, tarnishing and variations in colour. Their forms and bases are slightly distorted, meaning they lean and sit unevenly rather than standing perfectly straight. Decorative use only; they have not been tested for holding water.
