19th-Century Wooden Tea Caddy

£38.00
Details & condition

A 19th-century wooden tea caddy with a domed lid, brass keyhole escutcheon and two-compartment interior. The warm-toned timber has developed a pleasing aged patina, with remnants of orange-red paper lining inside.

Dimensions: 20 cm long × 11 cm high × 10 cm deep.

Condition: Honest antique condition with surface scratches and small marks consistent with age. The inner lids are missing and no key is present. Remnants of old baize or felt remain to the underside; the hinges operate smoothly and the body is structurally sound.
